Hopefully these answers might line up with some of the questions you may have.

When do I need to pay my invoice?

We will invoice you approx 2 weeks before the date of your event. This is because numbers may change, menu choices may change. 

How much does a pig feed, how do you cook them and whats included in the packages ?

We have been catering for all types of functions for ten years and have done 100s of hog roasts. We are highly qualified chefs. We often get asked how much does a pig feed. Like any business or foods business be it restaurant, or caterers like us, we bring / cook the amount we know is required for your event. This can be whole half pigs to whole pigs. Depending on your numbers We always ensure there's plenty of meat, that's the whole concept of having a hog roast. We also get asked what's included in the packages. Again like any menu what's included is what's in the packages you choose, unless you wanted to add foods on.  We do have some fantastic  veggie and vegan options and cater for all dietary requirements. We do not spit roast our pigs. Our method is to slow roast the meat for many hours in its own jucies rather than spinning open and often being undercooked. 

How long will you be on site and do you need to be there in advance?

This is dependant on the scale/size of the function. Generally, for standard parties/Weddings we will arrive on site 3/4 hours before and will remain until we've fully cleared away. 

How long is the hog cooked for?

We have a great reputation for the way our meat tastes because we know the longer its cooked for the better so it needs long slow cooking. We like to ensure this is done for at least 8 to 10 hours. Depending on your event we might start this off site with the Hog continuing to cook in its whole form at your venue. 

Are you VAT registered? 

Yes we are. 

Do you provide staff and people to help serve or do we need to sort that?

We can provide professional, uniformed and polite waitressing staff for £19.50ph. This can be added on to any package to serve and assist your day. With our experience  catering at outside and inside events both large and small in numbers we are able to offer you advice as to how many staff might be needed. 

Do you provide crockery, utensils and plates?

We use a very reliable and professional hire company in Hove called Hire All. We don't play the middle man in this and will simply advise and support you with this in terms of what you might need. We do have a basic range of paper plates and disposable cutlery as well as a bamboo range which is very popular for garden parties, weddings and BBQ events.

Do you just cater for Hog Roasts? 

Not at all, We are really good at them but we've got a really talented team of chefs who are trained to really high standards. If you need fine dining or a delicious sit down meal with different meat options, fish options or vegetarian options we can put together a wonderful menu for you.  We cater at all sorts of events so have a wide range of delicious ideas for your guests.  Click here to find out more.
